Thank you for your interest in the Just IELTS Questions series. This series of IELTS practice tests has been created to help students like you continue to practise for the real exam.
Through practising these, and other questions in the series, you will be able to become more familiar with the types of questions asked in the exam and be better able to respond confidently.
If you’re not doing an IELTS practice test daily, for at least a few months before the exam, you will find it harder to get the band score that you want. Even native English speakers who don’t study for the IELTS test can fail to get the band score they need.
These IELTS practice tests have come from many discussions with IELTS examiners, IELTS teachers, and especially IELTS students who have described the kinds of questions that can appear in the real exam.
You will find that the Just IELTS Questions series will be a great addition to your IELTS toolkit and can help you reach your goal faster.
Available in digital and in print format from Amazon

These questions have been created based on many discussions with IELTS examiners, IELTS teachers and especially IELTS students who have described the sort of questions they get in the exam. Additional notes regarding the print version for the private ESL tutor and classroom IELTS teacher –
You’ll find the text in this second edition of general reading questions has been spread out further for easier annotating while keeping the book size small for more convenient carrying in a backpack. ESL schools may also wish to offer the book as part of their IELTS course offerings. Considering this, the tests answers have been shifted to the back in case you wish to remove them easily from the book before giving it to your students. Also, to help make this less of a strain on ESL college budgets, the RRP price has been set lower than the previous edition.
Adding the Just IELTS Questions series to your collection of resources for studying for the IELTS exam can help you reach the band score you want sooner.

With the festive season upon us, it’s time to update the website! So, I’m going to start with adding some articles about interesting subjects. The first thing I’ve done is migrate Speakoz to EziEnglish. I plan to migrate a few of my sites to this one.
Speakoz contains links to online resources for learning English. I check the urls every now and then to make sure they’re still updated, though if you find one that’s dead, feel free to let me know in the comments below.
Speakoz also contains a section on conversation articles. Well, opinion articles that could generate conversations. You can find the huge list here: English Articles
I’ve also migrated Trading Newbies. If you’re interested in articles on trading, you’ll find a lot there.
I haven’t had a chance to create a new IELTS speaking practice video as my mobile died and the second hand one I bought doesn’t have a good enough video. Hopefully in 2020 I’ll get a better mobile and can record a new IELTS speaking test video for you. In the meantime, you can find out about the latest IELTS speaking practice ebook here:
IELTS Speaking Practice Tests Questions #11 Sets 101-110 has just been released. If you’re looking for more recent IELTS Speaking questions based on the exam to practice for the IELTS speaking test, this is the one. Released today!
Welcome back! I hope you’ve all had a great new year.
As promised, here is my latest video. Jumping a few numbers ahead for this post, though I’ll get back to the other ones soon.
If you’re looking to just practice IELTS speaking, I have a special offer for subscribers. Just USD$25 for one hour by Skype. (Normally USD$35) You can book me via the booking form above, and pre-pay for the lesson via Paypal.
Unfortunately I can’t teach online to countries where Paypal is not supported. Sorry about that.
In other news, more ebooks have been released in the IELTS Training Reading Practice Tests Series. You can find out more here:
Wow. I had no idea I had over 700 subscribers to this blog. That’s great! Many thanks, friends.
So, I thought I’d do a long message talking about a number of different things.
First of all, you may have noticed that I’ve released a few more IELTS ebooks. I wanted to get these out before November so that I could focus on some other things, so Amazon now has quite a number of IELTS General and IELTS Academic Reading tests, as well as some listening practice tests. I hope you find them useful. For more information, please visit IELTSPracticeTests.com
In recent months I’ve been focusing more on my in-person and online IELTS Speaking Practice lessons, and neglecting websites and ebooks. Rent had to be paid, and ebooks or private tutoring don’t generate that much, unfortunately. I plan to get back to releasing ebooks in 2019, but perhaps not as often. My main focus will be on the IELTS speaking series, as I have material for another hundred sets, but haven’t got around to putting them together. I know many of you want more questions, so I’ll get back to doing those in January 2019.
In case you’re curious as to what I write in my spare time, click here: https://StellarFlash.com
Also, in 2019, I hope to resume making some IELTS question videos. As it has been quite a while since I’ve done one, I have a feeling you might be shocked at my appearance. Most of my videos look like I’m in my early 30s. The last few looking like late 30s. But I’m actually in my late 40s, and the new HD webcam I’ve got that I’m going to use to record these is going to show every wrinkle and grey hair. So, sorry about that!
But my biggest news is that I’ve decided to return to study. I want to hone my skills in the creative writing field, with possible TV writing work. This has excited me for many decades now, and I’m finally able to do a course that is likely to get me there. So, I’ll do my best to post occasionally, but I might be busy with studies for most of the year.
In any case, wishing you a fantastic Christmas and amazing New Year. And if you don’t celebrate X-mas, then Happy Holidays!
All the best,
Jason
P.S. Here is IELTS Speaking Practice Video #82. Enjoy!
How is everything? I hope your IELTS studies have been going well. I’ve started a new writing project and haven’t had much time for this site. Sorry about that. For a short time I had it redirect to IELTSPracticeTests.com but Namecheap.com, the service I buy my domain names from, keeps having problems with their redirection system. This has been an ongoing thing with them for as long as I remember. At least since 2012. So I’m resigned to the fact that this continues to happen and don’t really care much about some of my other domains which I don’t have time to maintain. EziEnglish.com , however, is one of my more important domains, so I get a bit annoyed when people go to it and find a non existent website.
So, now I’m back for 2019 and will do a bit more work on the site. I’ll also post a few more IELTS videos.
